How I Would Paint: History
Yesterday in my class about the Israel-Palestine conflict, we did an exercise where we had the prompt: How I would paint (blank), filling in the blank with a quality or aspect of the conflict. Then we would write a poem from the completed prompt. So here's one I wrote for how I would paint history...
A flowing,
never-ending,
never-beginning,
progressing
current of thought.
An unyielding,
often misinterpreted,
force of nature
that leads straight to
the Current,
the Now.
